Why Work With Us
Our clients and patients are the heart of our practice, and they're the reason we do what we do. Because here, you're more than just a client, and your pet is more than just a patient you are family.
Building Relationships, Caring for Pets Since 1985
At Guilbeau Station Animal Hospital, we've been building lasting relationships with pets and the families who love them since 1985. We believe exceptional veterinary care goes beyond medicine and it's about earning your trust, providing compassionate, personalized care, and treating every pet like a member of our own family.
As an independently owned and operated, full-service small animal hospital located on the northwest side of San Antonio, we take pride in providing high-quality veterinary medicine with the personal touch our community has come to know and trust.
Founded in 1985 by Dr. William Henry and continuing under the ownership of Dr. Tim Kretzschmar since 2025, our hospital has grown and evolved, but our commitment remains the same: to provide exceptional veterinary care, outstanding client service, and a welcoming environment where every pet and their family feels valued.
We are proud to carry on the legacy that began over 40 years ago while continuing to build meaningful relationships with the families we serve.
